Ivan Q. Zinn

Mr. Zinn founded Atalaya to capitalize on his experience in sourcing and investing in credit opportunities. Mr. Zinn was previously responsible for HBK’s strategy to originate and invest in corporate and real estate loans and other special situation investments. Prior to HBK, Mr. Zinn established Highbridge/Zwirn Capital Management’s European investment effort and concentrated on media and telecom special situation investments in the U.S. Mr. Zinn was also a private equity investment professional at Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Zinn received a BA, magna cum laude, in Physics and Economics from Claremont McKenna College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was an NCAA All-American tennis player.

Mr. Levinson has held senior level finance and operations positions at various financial institutions with extensive experience in accounting and portfolio management systems integration and implementation, regulatory procedures, tax planning and operations management. Mr. Levinson was previously the Chief Operating Officer at Oracle Investment Management, a $1 billion health care hedge fund investment manager and private equity firm and a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Morgens, Waterfall, Vintiadis & Co., a hedge fund and private equity manager specializing in leveraged loans, special situations and distressed debt where he was also responsible for managing a number of turnaround situations in various industries. Mr. Levinson began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Levinson received a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University.

Mr. Bogdan has been with Atalaya since inception and has extensive investment experience in media and telecommunications. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mr. Bogdan was with Alta Communications, a leading private equity firm focused on small to middle-market media and telecommunication investments where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and managing equity investments in traditional media, new media, and telecommunication service industries. Prior to Alta Communications, Mr. Bogdan was at Comdisco Ventures, the venture capital arm of Comdisco, where he invested equity and subordinated debt in a broad range of technology companies. Mr. Bogdan began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Bogdan received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Chan has extensive experience in originating and investing in a range of financial assets, focused on specialty finance transactions. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mr. Chan was a partner and co-founder of TTM Capital, LLC, an investment firm focused on acquiring and lending against portfolios of financial and other assets. Prior to TTM, Mr. Chan was a Managing Director and co-head of the Assets Group at D.B. Zwirn & Co. Previously, Mr. Chan was a member of the Principal Transaction and Principal Finance teams at Lehman Brothers, and worked on numerous securitizations across multiple asset classes at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Chan began his career as a consultant at Price Waterhouse, followed by an internal consulting and operations roles at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Chan received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.

Mr. Flowers brings over 20 years of investment experience as a team leader, portfolio manager, trader, originator and analyst. He has deep experience in structured finance and related sectors supported by a strong background in credit and leverage finance. Mr. Flowers was a co-founder and Partner of TTM Capital, LLC, an investment firm focused on acquiring and lending against portfolios of financial and other assets. Prior to TTM, Mr. Flowers was a Managing Director and co-head of the Assets Group at D.B. Zwirn & Co. Previously, Mr. Flowers was an Executive Vice President at PPM America, Inc. where he founded and led the Structured Finance and CDO Management Group. Mr. Flowers began his career in credit and leverage finance investing at Alliance Capital Management and Connecticut National Bank. Mr. Flowers earned a BA in Business Economics at University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA in Finance at Columbia University.

Mr. Ufberg has broad experience in investing in corporate and real estate loans, including commercial, residential and whole loan portfolio acquisitions. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mr. Ufberg was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he was a member of their Special Situations Group focused on specialty lending. Prior to joining Goldman, Mr. Ufberg spent six years at Bernstein Investment Research and Management, where he led all aspects of origination for a private client management team. Prior to Bernstein, Mr. Ufberg was an associate at Dilworth Paxson. Mr. Ufberg earned his BA from Pennsylvania State University and his JD from Villanova University.
