Mark Schachter is a Managing Director at Atalaya and is responsible for corporate debt and equity investments. Previously, Mark was a Founder and Managing Partner of Elm Park Capital Management and a Portfolio Manager with HBK Capital Management. Prior to HBK, he worked for American Capital, a middle-market private equity and mezzanine firm and in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse Group. Mark received a B.A. in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development. Mark currently serves on the board of AdecoAgro (NYSE: AGRO), the SMU Alternative Asset Management Center and the Anti-Defamation League.
