Matthew Rothfleisch is a Partner at Atalaya and is responsible for corporate investments across the firm's platform, including SPACs, Distressed and CLO. Prior to joining Atalaya, Matthew was the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Rotation Capital, which he started in 2014. Prior to forming Rotation, he was a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager of Del Mar Asset Management, managing the firm's credit strategies and serving as a member of both the Investment and Management Committees. He was previously a Managing Director at Highbridge/Zwirn Capital Management, where he served as Portfolio Manager for the Domestic Credit Arbitrage Strategy, until he left to establish Del Mar 's credit business. Previously, Matthew was at Oak Hill Advisors as a Credit Analyst and High Yield Trader, and started his career as a Financial Analyst in Investment Banking and Fixed Income Capital Markets at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Matthew holds a BA in Political Science from Columbia University.
