Michael Egan
Director of Technology
Michael Egan is the Director of Technology at Atalaya and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s technology infrastructure and managing our outsourced IT provider. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mike led his own technology consulting business, co-founded a trading technology startup, held positions as a Principal Consultant at Tiger Bay Advisors and as a Trading Technology Manager at Bridgewater Associates. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director of Software Development at a large hedge fund and held positions at large global banks including UBS and Societe Generale. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.
