Rebecca Chia joined Atalaya Capital Management in 2020 and serves as the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations. She is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s investor partnerships. Prior to joining Atalaya, Rebecca was Head of Marketing at Third Point Management LLC, an event-driven hedge fund based in New York City, where she led the capital formation efforts. Prior to Third Point, Rebecca was the Head of Asia-Pacific Sales and Client Service at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a global investment management firm focused on fundamental investing with a multi-strategy approach. She began her career as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers focusing on the technology, media, and telecom sector.
Rebecca is an active member of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM) New York City Chapter and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). She holds a BS in Economics and Journalism from Northwestern University and currently resides in New York City with her husband and three children.
