Matthew Buckley is the Tax Director at Atalaya and is responsible for tax structuring and tax compliance across the firm’s strategies. Prior to joining Atalaya, Matthew was the Tax Director at Mack Real Estate Group, a vertically integrated, institutional real estate developer, operator, investor, and lender. Previously, he was the Tax Director at Garrison Investment Group, a multi-strategy alternative investment manager. Matthew holds a BS with a concentration in Accounting from Monmouth University and an MA in Taxation from Rutgers University.
